Friendly contact. Good advice. Quick installation on 9 April 2021. We are a family of four and actually only need two bags of salt per year. However, our toilet flush gets its water from a cistern. Our annual water consumption has been around 100 cubic metres so far. The water hardness was previously between 15 and 18. The system is set to 6. For the past few days, we've been using the kettle daily for tea. Before, a layer of limescale would quickly build up. Now it's still sparkling clean. My neighbor has the same kettle and is also very happy with it.
We were interested in the CDI 120-2 water softener. Your representative, Mr. Klein, visited us on April 30, 2021. He was a very good and friendly representative who explained the system's operation to us in a very clear and understandable way. Afterwards, we decided to purchase the system. It was delivered at the beginning of April and installed and commissioned by a very competent technician. A very good investment, especially with a water hardness of 22° dH.
The water softener was installed on April 26, 2021. It took 40 minutes. The system is easy to use, the instructions were clear, and unlike the previous system, it doesn't require annual servicing. My neighbor has also been very satisfied with Eckstein for the past five years.
We became aware of this system through our daughter, who has been using it for some time. We then decided on this system because it has a separate pump that pumps the brine solution, after regeneration, to the drain 7 meters away. Furthermore, it was important to us that the system is maintenance-free. Installation took only one hour.

Our system was installed on April 19, 2021, in just about an hour, and the process was well explained. What surprised me was the low salt consumption – after four months, we've only used about 20 kg. Despite this, the performance is more than impressive – no more limescale deposits, and water spots are easily wiped away with a cloth. We hope to enjoy this appliance for many years to come!
We've owned an Eckstein CDI 120-3 since March 2021. Even after more than six months, everything is working perfectly, and we have fantastic softened water. The salesperson seemed very professional and didn't pressure us to buy immediately, unlike the salesperson from another well-known company. If you can do without the fancy features of the app, I can highly recommend Eckstein. I check the salt level once a month; I don't need an app for that.
